About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction field activities to ensure project milestone dates and overall schedule completion dates are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Review blueprints, customer needs, and contractor submissions to execute appropriate bids and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of construction professionals in project planning and developing site logistics, ensuring quality workmanship and safety guidelines are met.
  • Subcontractor Management: Monitor job subcontractors to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, and coordinate with them to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Time Management: Utilize effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of projects and meet project deadlines.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with job investors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in field engineering, surveying, and layout with self-perform concrete, as well as experience working in a multiple-project construction environment.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand plans, technical understanding of residential construction, including building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of problem-solving and experience with complex detailed projects, with the ability to investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to establish project objectives, policies, procedures, performance, and quality standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
