Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor for Community Services is a critical role at Respite Care of San Antonio Inc. responsible for overseeing the Community Services programs, ensuring high-quality services, and enhancing the mission of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee staff for day services and other collaborations as needed.
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Direct Care Staff for the above programs.
  • Communicate effectively with the Family Support Services Manager to ensure child-to-staff ratio for weekend services are adequate and efficient.
  • Implement curriculum for weekend services and other collaborations.
  • Plan and organize daily activities in accordance with curriculum for weekend services, summer camps, and other collaborations.
  • Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and respect for property and items at the Respite Care of San Antonio Inc. site.
  • Complete Developmental Checklists for weekend programs and summer camps.
  • Submit purchase orders with approval from the Family Support Services Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with the Family Support Services Manager to ensure smooth operation of weekend services, summer camps, and external programs.
  • Maintain and decorate Camp rooms, FDO rooms, and other external collaborations.
  • Maintain all student files, documentation, site protocols, and Procare attendance.
  • Ensure proper and timely completion of paperwork, such as time sheets, schedules, behavior logs, incident reports, work orders, and supply requests.
  • Report all incidents and emergencies to the Family Support Services Manager.
  • Serve as a model and mentor for others, with specific emphasis on conduct, attitude, and attendance.
  • Attend trainings as required to maintain status as Site Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and have favorable findings on background checks.
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Special Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience in a related field.
