Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Roanoke College. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and staff management.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage and train a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute catering events, special promotions, and themed activities
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in professional kitchen management, preferably in an educational setting
  • ServSafe certified Food Safety Manager
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
