Position Summary

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team at Axle Informatics. This role is pivotal in supporting the Finance & Accounting (F&A) team and aligning with the company's strategic objectives. The F&A Analyst will play a crucial role in facilitating F&A processes and developing an automation strategy while managing the systems, data, and workflows associated with Finance & Accounting. This position involves reviewing projects, generating reports, and contributing valuable insights to enhance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and refine requirements from stakeholders during integrated process team discussions to accurately capture business needs.
  • Analyze and compile data from various corporate systems, presenting findings in a clear and logical manner for informed decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, analyses, and findings for leadership review.
  • Examine and document existing F&A business processes, propose future enhancements, identify gaps, and collaborate with senior team members to devise strategies for improvement.
  • Create presentations tailored for management consideration, utilizing tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Facilitate the creation of business use cases that can be operationalized and automated effectively.
  • Understand the interrelationships of data and information across corporate functions.
  • Work closely with IT to establish and manage system interfaces.
  • Collaborate with other team members to leverage their expertise in delivering and implementing functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial analysis or accounting is advantageous.
  • Ability to consult with users and subject matter experts to define, gather, and document functional business requirements.
  • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively addressing questions from diverse audiences.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks within required timelines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and addressing needs, with a focus on implementation.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with effective listening and interpersonal abilities.
