About the JobWe are offering a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, to attract top talent for this key role. As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Advancement Communications + Marketing will play a critical role in shaping the Smithsonian's fundraising strategy and executing its implementation. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with donors, prospects, and volunteer leaders, as well as overseeing the development of campaigns, proposals, and other fundraising materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, familiarity with budgets, experience with procurement, and marketing experience including some experience with social media and ad campaigns.
