About the Role:

Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking an experienced Documentation and Communication Lead to join our team. As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in technical writing and possess excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. You will be responsible for creating complex software documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and technical guides. Additionally, you will partner with development, customer engineering, marketing, and technical support groups to understand and respond to customer documentation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create new documentation and evaluate, edit, improve, and correct legacy documentation.
  • Author complex software documentation, including user manuals, release notes, installation guides, design guides, training materials, technical guidance, and other technical documentation.
  • Partner with teams such as development, customer engineering, marketing, and technical support groups to understand and respond to customer documentation needs.

Requirements:

  • Advanced ability to design and develop Microsoft Products including Office, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent writing, editing, drafting, and journaling skills, to include the ability to design and create documents and artifacts from notional ideas.
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of all project management knowledge areas preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and handle tight deadlines.
  • Highly responsive to requested needs.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion.
