  • Oversee the weekly maintenance schedule, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings to reflect on shop performance and align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with plant safety initiatives and promote active participation in safety programs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the mechanical shop, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Identify opportunities for reliability improvements and implement solutions through continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written, within a diverse workforce.
  • Thorough understanding of safety compliance and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Aspirations for career advancement into higher management roles.

Compensation: $80,080 annually, with potential adjustments based on experience and qualifications.
