Blue Tide Shift Supervisor

As a Blue Tide Shift Supervisor at Blue Wave Car Wash, you will be responsible for driving quality customer service through the daily management of employees and site initiatives. You will effectively answer all customer questions and resolve complaints, promoting and selling membership packages and car-wash upgrades. Additionally, you will provide direction to staff, assist with training and coaching employees to promote and up-sell memberships and to provide quality customer service. You will maintain site cleanliness, equipment operation, and quality wash service, performing visual inspections of the tunnel and equipment room to ensure equipment and chemicals are functioning properly. You will also order parts, chemicals, products, and supplies as needed, ensuring accurate inventory. Furthermore, you will perform daily bookkeeping procedures, cash reconciliation, and deposit procedures, and assist with training staff. You will coach and recognize good performance of employees, maintaining high confidentiality regarding company documents, passwords/codes, keys, and overall site security. You will enforce and maintain a high level of safety for customers and employees, reporting potential hazards and accidents/injuries. You will understand, follow, and enforce all general rules, company policies, and procedures. You will work flexible hours/shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and additional hours as needed to manage/support site operations.
Requirements:
One to two years of previous supervisory experience in a retail or customer service environment is required. Proven ability to build strong and effective teams is essential. A degree or certification is preferred, and strong technological skills and mechanical knowledge are also desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and leadership skills, and good accuracy and attention to detail are required. You must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure, able to multi-task, and able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds alone. Regular use of a ladder is also required. You must have physical stamina to work long hours and have physical mobility to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, and stand for long periods of time. You must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record. You must also maintain personal liability coverage on your own vehicle.
