San Francisco, California, United States Innovaccer Full time
Product Management at Innovaccer

Our product team consists of a vibrant group of talented professionals who convert concepts into tangible solutions. They orchestrate the creation, development, and launch of new products, ensuring they align with the overarching business strategy. Furthermore, we are harnessing AI across all our offerings, transforming healthcare and shaping the future to create a significant impact on the world.
About the Role

The Vice President of Product Management will collaborate closely with the VP of Product and GM (Sales Lead) on product strategy, development, operations, and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. This pivotal role within Innovaccer's payer market vertical encompasses responsibilities for both product and GTM priorities, holding overall accountability for product strategy, development, and execution for payer solutions in the risk adjustment and quality management sectors. In this capacity, you will engage with various internal stakeholders, including product designers, managers, engineers, sales & marketing teams, and Innovaccer's leadership. You will also interact directly with current and potential customers, as well as other external stakeholders. This position is designed for highly driven individuals eager to enhance their product management skills within the healthcare technology domain.

A Day in the Life
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Product and GM (Sales Lead) on payer product strategy, design & development, operations, and GTM initiatives in the payer risk adjustment and quality management sectors. You will share responsibility for revenue targets with the GM overseeing growth in the payer market.
  • Lead product strategy initiatives with full ownership of specific payer solutions, including defining new offerings based on product-market fit, conducting market analyses, refining product use cases, characterizing user personas, assessing the competitive landscape in payer healthcare technology, and establishing Innovaccer's competitive advantages.
  • Drive product development, particularly for early-stage concepts, which will involve designing high-fidelity product wireframes, gathering market feedback to evaluate and refine product-market fit, and collaborating with platform and/or customer innovation product managers during development sprints.
  • Engage closely with the payer GTM team (sales and marketing) to support payer GTM efforts, including refining sales presentations, facilitating internal sales enablement activities, supporting upsell and/or cross-sell opportunities, and participating in key customer meetings and industry events.
  • Build strong relationships with executives at all of our payer clients and serve as their primary point of contact for all product discussions and escalations.
  • Provide effective and inspiring leadership that fosters broader commitment across Innovaccer as we expand in the payer risk adjustment and quality management sectors. This role will start with a small team but is expected to grow over time.
What You Need
  • Direct product experience in the payer risk adjustment and quality management sectors.
  • 8+ years of product management or comparable experience, ideally with 5+ years focused on developing products for payers.
  • A balance of strategic vision and operational mindset to drive outcomes, including demonstrated success in working with abstract concepts and intangible variables.
  • Strong analytical skills to solve problems related to company priorities and innovate on ideas and approaches.
  • Collaborative and adaptable in approach; a startup environment requires dynamic thinking and the ability to work cross-functionally, including with external customer stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual who thrives in a high-performing, enthusiastic team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; relevant professional degree preferred.
We offer competitive benefits to ensure your success both in and out of the workplace.
Here's What We Offer
  • Generous PTO Benefits: Enjoy an accrual of 22 days of PTO per year.
  • Parental Leave: Experience one of the industry's best parental leave policies to spend time with your new addition.
  • Rewards & Recognition: Unlock your potential and be rewarded generously with both monetary incentives and widespread recognition for your dedication and outstanding performance.
