Job Title: Transportation Analyst

At Swift Transportation, we are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our logistics division, you will play a critical role in negotiating freight rates, building and optimizing carrier partner relationships, and responding to our capacity requirements and network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate freight rates for Swift's Logistics Division (3PL & Brokerage) to maximize profit and negotiating power at each transaction.
  • Analyze the freight market to identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Manage the entire process from freight procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Communicate market changes and carrier opportunities to leadership and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous brokerage-related/transportation experience or two (2) years experience with sales, inside sales call center or customer service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of transportation and 3PL.
  • Bachelor's in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and purpose.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with proven ability to solicit new customers and meet specific revenue targets.
