Job Description

As a Principal Consultant, you'll play a critical role in designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Health EHR solutions for federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service.

You'll work closely with clients to understand their workflow needs and provide expert guidance on service line workflow, interdependencies, and design decision impacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts.
  • Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders.
  • Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients.
  • Mitigate solution risks and issues.
  • Execute workflow and process improvement strategies.
  • Lead client meetings and events.
  • Drive internal team initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of combined related work experience and completed higher education.
  • At least 2 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in relevant clinician or practitioner, functional or technical roles.
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle Health Federal Clinical Laboratory products is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.

Expectations:

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
