Cardiac Care Specialist

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment. You will track heart rhythms and vital signs to detect any abnormalities or changes and administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians. You will also respond promptly to changes in patient status, initiating interventions such as administering medications, providing oxygen therapy, or notifying the physician.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status, initiating interventions as needed
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Requirements
- Current RN state license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a telemetry or cardiac care setting
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
