Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Addus Healthcare. As a Pediatric Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable patients to stay independent while they remain in their own homes.
  • Perform selected nursing procedures, commensurate with experience and education within the scope of LPN/LVN practice.
  • Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN.
  • Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations.
  • Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately.
  • Perform routine supervisory visits to evaluate the plan of care and supervise the delivery of excellent client service.
  • Communicate with Case Managers and other members of the care team.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current practical nurse licensure.
  • At least 2 year of practical nursing experience.
  • Must be able to travel locally in your own vehicle, and possess a valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance coverage.
