Orthodontic Assistant Role Overview
At North American Dental Group, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and transforming the dental experience. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our mission.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with our practice team to provide clinical support and assistance to our doctors
* Prepare patients for treatment and assist with materials and equipment setup
* Provide excellent chair-side support, including charting, operatory setup, and patient education
* Record and review patient health history, make chart entries, and complete forms and signatures in dental software
* Enter and update patient treatment plans under the direction of the treating doctor
* Assist with wire changes, bracket removal, and adhesive preparation
* Prepare treatment estimates for review and discussion with patients
Qualifications:
* 0-2 years' experience in a dental setting
* State licensure where required
* Valid Dental Radiographer License for respective state requirements
* CPR Certification
* Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
