Qualified Intellectual Developmental Personnel

Job Summary
The Qualified Intellectual Developmental Personnel (QIDP) is a critical member of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest standard of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a QIDP, you will work within an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) to coordinate and monitor individual treatment programs, ensuring seamless integration and coordination with other program staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct annual and semi-annual reviews of individual status and progress, including risk assessments.
- Direct the delivery of training, medical, and habilitation services, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and distribute individual clinical team members' reports and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individual plans, including behavioral goals and objectives.
- Ensure the least restrictive interventions and practices are utilized.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address changes in individual diets and nutritional needs.
- Provide ongoing in-service training to staff.
- Coordinate and conduct weekly meetings with the clinical team.
- Initiate periodic reviews and conduct individual case conferences as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a Day Hab or Residential program.
- Experience with Day Habilitation plans and Medicaid billing.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- SCIP-R and First Aid/CPR certification.
