About the Role:

YAI is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing medical insight and oversight to our staff. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an increasingly autonomous role, participating in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing medical insight and oversight to our staff
  • Work in an increasingly autonomous role, participating in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care
  • Provide training and oversight to direct care staff in monitoring medical systems
  • Participate in team meetings and provide medically related in-services to program staff

Requirements:

  • NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Med/Surg experience
  • Experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled populations

Benefits:

  • $50,000.00 annual salary
  • M-F 10a-6p schedule
