Job Title: Pediatric CVICU Hospitalist Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant

The Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pediatric CVICU Hospitalist Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are passionate about advancing the health of infants, children, and adolescents through innovative medical care, research, education, training, and advocacy.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary/front-line clinician duties on day and night shifts in the CVICU, caring for infants, children, and young adults with critical illness under the direction and supervision of the CVICU attending physician.
  • Evaluate and manage critical illness, including assisting in airway management, vascular access, resuscitation, and other critical care procedures as needed.
  • Participate in unit-based teaching, quality improvement, and research activities.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Pediatrics or Pediatric Critical Care.
  • Completion of a Pediatric Critical Care fellowship program or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
