Job Title: Chemical Production Supervisor

PPS-HPS is in search of a dedicated Chemical Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in overseeing the production operations and ensuring that we meet our clients' needs while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 5-15 operators in executing production tasks efficiently.
  • Analyze production reports and customer specifications to fulfill orders accurately.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process and provide support to team members as necessary.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of materials as required.
  • Offer direction and support to production staff.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure complex orders are completed successfully.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Prepare shift reports and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization within the production area.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Assist in training new personnel and ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • Ability to work at heights of 15 feet or more.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skilled in planning and executing workload efficiently.
  • Experience with Datacor C/S ERP software is a plus.
