Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Machine Operator / Setup Tech & General Assembler to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating spiral paper tube winders, as well as performing various assembly and packaging tasks. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate spiral paper tube winders according to work orders and job specifications
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machine setups as needed
  • Pull necessary materials and tools to perform measuring, cutting, assembly, and other operations
  • Fill, weigh, and label packages with attention to detail
  • Manage material inventory and alert personnel when supplies are low
  • Ensure high-quality work and maintain excellent production performance
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or a similar trade
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficiency with rulers and calipers
  • Ability to squat/lift items above shoulders (up to 40 pounds)
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position, including standing for long periods
Work Schedule

This production position works the 1st shift and typically has a 4-day schedule of Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional Friday shifts may be required to meet demand.
