Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Western Construction Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction work, coordinating with the project team, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of contract documents, review, and execution.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, monitor retainage, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Responsible for accounts receivables, collections, and client communication.
  • Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field employees.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Preplan tasks with the project team to ensure safety.
  • Monitor and obtain all necessary permits.
  • Assist in accurately estimating and pricing change orders.
  • Continually perform cost evaluation and control to ensure budgetary restrictions are adhered to.
  • Track timelines and provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and supervise project deployment to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Interact regularly with the project superintendent and foreman to ensure production requirements and timelines are met.
  • Document and coordinate project change orders.
  • Oversee the procurement of project materials.
  • Review project-related reports and ensure accuracy.
  • Establish work plans and arrange for project personnel recruitment or assignment.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients.
  • Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
  • Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and contract requirements.
  • Responsible for proper project close-out, including attic stock.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in construction project management, with masonry and/or concrete restoration experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair, masonry repair, and/or historic restoration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Experience with or ability to use Procore software or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, working closely with in-house sales/project managers to review bids and develop proposals.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage others.
  • Good communication skills.
  • OSHA-30 certification and First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
