Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our specialty design build department in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and building complex geotechnical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and planning of geotechnical projects, including limited access deep excavations, active slope stabilizations, ground improvement systems, and deep foundation systems.

• Collaborate with our team to develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.

• Conduct site investigations and collect data to inform geotechnical design decisions.

• Develop and implement geotechnical design plans, including soil behavior analysis, foundation design, and slope stability analysis.

• Work closely with our construction teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Travel to project sites along the West Coast as needed.

Requirements

• PhD or master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or 2-5 years of related experience.

• Excellent coursework or experience in soil behavior, foundations design, geotechnical earthquake engineering, slope stability and seepage analysis, and numerical modeling.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
