As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales engagements and meeting your quota by creating and implementing strategic enterprise account plans targeting deployments of our Next Generation Security Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed your quota by creating and implementing strategic enterprise account plans targeting deployments of our Next Generation Security Platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key executives and decision-makers at SLED accounts in Illinois.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that maximize Palo Alto Networks' opportunity.
  • Prospect for new business with new and existing customers.
  • Work closely with our Systems Engineer to leverage SLED account selling strategies into a mix of install base and competitively held SLED in Illinois.
  • Deliver a predictable book of business to drive forecast accuracy.
  • Engage in account planning process to map solutions to client initiatives.
  • Proposal generation articulating financial ROI/TCO value.
  • Foster deep partnerships and leverage channel partners and technology partners, locally and nationally.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
  • Successful track record selling complex solutions directly to SLED customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key executives and decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that maximize opportunity.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technology-oriented and senior business executives.
  • BS technical degree or equivalent experience.
