About The Mortgage Firm, Inc.
We are a top-producing mortgage lending company seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our mortgage loan origination officers in managing loan files from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of loan package documents and submit discrepancies to the loan officer or loan originator.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork.
- Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Act as the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and clients, scheduling meetings to discuss outstanding items and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Understanding of different loan products, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, commercial loans, etc.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a willingness to go above and beyond for customers and team members.
- NMLS license or training is preferred, but not required.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office, and experience with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software.
- College degree in finance or banking is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
