Job Summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Calibration Technician to join our team. As a world leader in life science engineering and technical solutions, we provide comprehensive technical support and solutions for the FDA-regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calibrations in pharmaceutical industry environments, with a focus on biotechnology.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge in tolerance calculation and process tolerance evaluation.
  • Assess calibration systems and implement improvements.
  • Manage calibration programs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform calibrations on bioreactors, utilities, formulation, and aseptic areas.
  • Utilize software such as Blue Mountain (RAM), Calman, or Procal to streamline calibration processes.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP and industry regulations.
  • Experience with temperature, technologies, pressure, humidity, flow, mass, pH, conductivity, and dimension and electrical measurements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to use hands to operate equipment, tools, or controls.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
