Key Responsibilities- Instrumentation and Maintenance
- Operate and maintain multiple instruments, including HPLC, LC-MS, MALDI-TOF MS, and UV-Vis.
- Ensure instruments are calibrated and functioning properly.
- Method Development and Validation
- Develop and validate analytical methods for oligonucleotides, peptides, conjugates, and small molecules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new methods.
- Chemical Inventory and Supply Management
- Manage chemical inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical usage and inventory levels.
- Research Data Analysis and Presentation
- Interpret and present research data and findings in internal scientific meetings.
- Prepare and present reports on research progress and results.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry or biochemistry.
- Industry or academic research experience.
- Technical Skills
- Previous experience with chromatography techniques, including IEX-HPLC, RP-HPLC, and LCMS.
- Knowledge of oligonucleotide chemistry and analytical chemistry of oligonucleotides.
- Understanding of lab safety protocols and organic chemistry reactions.
- Soft Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary research environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
