About the Role

Woodard & Curran is a leading engineering, science, and operations firm seeking a highly skilled Water Wastewater Project Manager to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a key member of our South Region Wastewater/Water Team, you will be responsible for leading the project management and engineering on municipal wastewater projects, as well as supporting the growth of our multi-discipline project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Directly manage project tasks' financial and technical delivery, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Technical Leadership: Function as the technical lead for all sizes of projects, including interaction related to all technical tasks associated with the project.
  • Team Support: Support discipline leads with determining technical approaches for specific tasks and provide input on developing Woodard & Curran design or technical guidelines and standards.
  • Business Development: Support the pursuit of new projects in concert with the Business Development Team, including developing the approach and scope and providing input on budget.
  • Client Relations: Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and/or external clients/professional societies and participate in committees and other external leadership opportunities through professional associations and other applicable organizations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing wastewater/water engineering projects.
  • Education: A B.S. degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or environmental engineering, or an M.S. degree, is preferred.
  • Certifications: Registered Professional Engineering Florida (or ability to apply for reciprocity within 6 months of hire).
  • Skills: Superior writing, communication, and presentation skills, strong leadership skills, and ability to coach, mentor, and train individuals.
What We Offer

Woodard & Curran offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience level and geographic location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
