Job Overview

Momar, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated Water Quality Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of water systems through comprehensive testing and maintenance. The successful candidate will engage with clients, manage service records, and ensure compliance with water quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a service vehicle to travel to designated sites within the assigned region.
  • Perform thorough water quality assessments on designated systems to verify compliance with established standards.
  • Establish and oversee water treatment protocols at point-of-use locations to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and addressing inquiries.
  • Oversee multiple client accounts while accurately documenting service activities and communications.
  • Collaborate with on-site client managers to discuss service outcomes, resolve issues, and suggest system enhancements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot various feed and control systems to rectify technical challenges.
  • Assist with additional tasks and special projects as directed by management.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) for report and document preparation.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and sound decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities to meet client expectations and deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing, with clients and team members.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and operate a company vehicle responsibly when required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial HVAC water treatment, including cooling towers and steam boiler chemical treatment.
  • Prior experience as a Service Technician managing multiple accounts.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and maintain accurate service documentation.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 55 lbs.
  • Capable of using appropriate tools to manage heavy loads.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks.
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying temperature conditions.
  • Ability to distinguish colors for water treatment testing purposes.
