Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Speech Therapist to join our team in a school district near the Seattle area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents, and providing speech therapy in individual or small group settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide speech therapy in individual or small group settings to help students achieve their IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and communication with teachers and parents.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities and promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal setting to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
Job Requirements
  • Current WA State License
  • Master in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • PDE Teaching Certificate
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
