Pediatric Hospital Medicine Nocturnist Opportunity

Cleveland Clinic Children's is seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospital Medicine nocturnist to join our team. As a nocturnist, you will provide high-quality care to newborns and inpatient pediatric patients across the Northeast Ohio area.

The Department of Pediatric Hospital Medicine has a team that provides care at 4 different Cleveland Clinic Children's Hub hospitals. Our hub hospital practice is an extension of the main campus program, ensuring best practices and the highest quality throughout the health system.

The nocturnist position would be primarily for our Hillcrest and Fairview locations. You will be required to have a comfort in attending newborn deliveries and caring for patients on our inpatient units.

The Department of Pediatric Hospital Medicine staff is a cornerstone of pediatric Postgraduate training, providing education for an established ACGME accredited Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship, pediatric residents, and medical students.

To be eligible for this position, you must have board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics and eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to newborns and inpatient pediatric patients
  • Attend newborn deliveries and care for patients on inpatient units
  • Participate in education and training programs for pediatric residents and medical students
