Aston Carter is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Contract Management Associate, you will be responsible for managing government contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, track, and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, while maintaining associated documentation.
- Manage government contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.
- Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
- Identify risks and issues, and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution.
- Review and manage contractual obligations, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, and modifications.
- Consult and escalate contractual, business, or CM positioning issues to CM and Program Leadership when necessary.
- Implement CM processes and act as the primary contact between the project team and Legal, ensuring all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and clients/vendors, inform the project team of contract requirements, and monitor compliance.
- Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for engagements.
- Achieve a reasonable understanding of the company's major business areas (System Integration and/or Outsourcing) to communicate effectively with project Senior Executives and provide relevant advice.
- Provide training to Contract Management or program personnel.
