Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at Valor Healthcare, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional service to our nation's heroes.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Patients
You will diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems, delivering preventive and therapeutic treatment of primary care needs, including chronic disease management, to patients through routine physical examination testing and non-invasive treatment.
Collaborate with Healthcare TeamYou will work closely with fellow team members to ensure the expectations of Patient Aligned Care Team metrics are met, providing strong communication and collaboration to deliver exceptional patient care.
Develop and Implement Patient Management PlansYou will develop and implement patient management plans, assisting in the provision of continuity of care and ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Order and Perform Diagnostic TestsYou will order and perform diagnostic tests, prescribing medication and recommending dietary and activity programs as indicated by diagnosis.
Counsel Patients and Educate on Health MaintenanceYou will counsel patients on the use of prescription medications, educate patients on health maintenance, assess mental health issues, and provide routine health maintenance.
Requirements- 4+ Years Clinical Medical Practice
You must have at least 4 years of clinical medical practice experience, with a preference for government healthcare environment experience.
Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine DegreeYou must hold a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree.
Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal MedicineYou must be board certified in family practice or internal medicine.
Credentialed and in Good Standing with the VAYou must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
Valid, Unrestricted License in the State of Desired EmploymentYou must comply with and maintain all requirements for a valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment, or in any U.S. state or territory, depending on VA contractual requirements.
Current Certification in Basic Life Support and ACLSYou must have current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS as specified by individual VAMC contract.
Current, Unrestricted DEA RegistrationYou must have current, unrestricted DEA registration.
Proficiency in Written and Spoken EnglishYou must have proficiency in written and spoken English.
Excellent Computer SkillsYou must have excellent computer skills.
Energetic and Optimistic DemeanorYou must have an energetic and optimistic demeanor.
Strong Service Mentality and Focus on Achieving Service StandardsYou must have a strong service mentality and a focus on achieving all aspects of defined service standards.
