Position Summary:
The Medical Doctor applies and adapts medical principles, methods, and techniques to deliver primary patient care. Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide medical treatment to patients and document all interactions in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Work with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for high-quality treatment.
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional guidelines.
- Participate in special medical projects and maintain professional affiliations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Valid, unrestricted medical license in the state of employment.
- Active/Unrestricted DEA license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in an outpatient setting.
- Active Medicare and Medicaid numbers.
- Knowledge of Medicare coverage and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of medical practices and policies.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
