We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Workers Compensation to join our team at Keurig Dr Pepper. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to manage workers' compensation claims and promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Refine Employee Experience: Create a more robust, transparent, and easy process for employees, leaders, and HR Business Partners when filing workers' compensation claims.
  • Partner with Risk Organization and Leaders: Collaborate with the Risk organization, people leaders, and HR Business Partners to better define roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop Multi-Year Plan to Reduce Claims Activity: Create a comprehensive plan to reduce workers' compensation claims activity over the next few years.
  • Improve Return to Work Opportunities: Develop strategies to improve return to work opportunities for employees who have been injured on the job.
  • Lead Workers Compensation Team: Supervise a team of workers' compensation professionals who support employees through the workers' compensation process.
  • Facilitate Leave of Absence and FMLA: Work with business, HR, and Legal teams to ensure that employees who are on leave or returning from leave are properly supported.
  • Consult with Adjustors and Defense Counsel: Collaborate with adjustors and defense counsel to ensure that workers' compensation claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop Corporate-Wide Return to Work Programs: Create and implement return to work programs that promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Participate in Claim Reviews: Participate in regular claim reviews to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with Keurig Dr Pepper stakeholders, including EH&S, Risk Management, HR, and Legal, to ensure that workers' compensation initiatives are aligned with company goals.
Requirements
  • Strong Business Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of business operations and the ability to develop strategies that align with company goals.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Be able to communicate effectively with employees, leaders, and HR Business Partners to ensure that workers' compensation initiatives are successful.
  • Project Management Skills: Possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Leadership Skills: Be able to lead a team of workers' compensation professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure that employees are properly supported through the workers' compensation process.
