Position Overview:

The role involves managing and facilitating customer orders and inquiries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and process customer orders
  • Engage with clients through various communication channels including phone, email, and online platforms
  • Monitor and document order statuses, shipping details, and freight claims
  • Collaborate with the planning team to address stock availability
  • Set up new customers and maintain accurate records in the ERS system
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as warehouse, finance, and sourcing
  • Report systemic issues to management for resolution
  • Inform clients about slow-moving or obsolete inventory

Additional Duties:

  • Support administrative staff with incoming inquiries
  • Assist accounts receivable with delivery confirmations for payment processes
  • Work collaboratively across departments to resolve order discrepancies
  • Maintain organized customer records
  • Provide in-office coverage during holidays as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, be a team player, and demonstrate self-motivation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential, along with a willingness to learn proprietary software. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is required.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the General Manager.
