Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of operators working on the packaging line, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with Area Management on quality, equipment, and operational issues, ensuring seamless collaboration and resolution.
  • Act as both administrator and technical leader for operations, setting a good example through demonstrated knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems, and use of proper technique.
  • Represent the shift operations at huddles, providing feedback to the floor on updates and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Supervise temporary employees from contracting agencies, ensuring a smooth transition and effective integration into the team.
  • Handle escalations within the team, providing timely and effective solutions to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment.
  • Steel-toed safety shoes are a must.
  • Good technical writing and editing skills.
  • Previous leadership experience and organizational and motivational skills are essential.
