Job Opportunity at Poling & Associates

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Paralegal to join our team at Poling & Associates. As a key member of our practice, you will play a vital role in providing medical records review and summation in medical malpractice claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant information and summarize findings.
  • Organize and index medical records at the direction of our attorneys.
  • Review and catalog radiology images from medical care providers.
  • Prepare detailed chronologies based on medical issues in cases.
  • Conduct medical literature reviews and research.
  • Obtain expert reviews, including searching for expert options and communicating with experts and attorneys.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest medical standards of care and practice guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Adobe PDF.
  • An active Ohio LPN or RN license with a minimum of 7 years of clinical experience.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Legal Nurse Consultant, Nurse Paralegal, or risk manager is preferred.
  • Certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant is highly desired.
