Position Overview

The Network Infrastructure Specialist role is focused on delivering comprehensive IT infrastructure engineering for various network and system projects. Responsibilities include managing upgrades, troubleshooting, relocations, and migrations.

Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Implement, migrate, and document post-sales engagements with clients following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and provide constructive feedback during pre-sales processes.
  • Ensure the delivery of support and services meets client expectations as outlined.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure solutions from major vendors including Cisco and HPE.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to networking, security, and wireless systems.
  • Utilize expertise in Cisco Collaboration systems and platforms.
  • Assess and determine specific client network requirements.
  • Develop tailored network, security, VoIP, and wireless solutions.
  • Create detailed implementation plans for projects.
  • Conduct architecture discussions and design concept sessions.
  • Facilitate product demonstrations, webinars, and presentations for clients.
  • Engage in project work or respond to service tickets as required to meet client needs.
  • Provide training and feedback to other technical team members.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of high-performance data center solutions, LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, and Cisco collaboration systems.
  • Expertise in major manufacturers' routers, switches, and security appliances.
  • In-depth understanding of WAN circuits, including MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience in designing and troubleshooting VLANs using Cisco equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of VPN solutions and hands-on deployment experience.
  • Familiarity with load balancing for web systems and e-commerce applications.
  • Proficiency in Cisco IOS, NXOS, and related configurations.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with wired/wireless deployments and security assessments.
  • Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Cisco Certified Systems Engineer (CCNP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Unified Communications solutions and Cisco Voice Gateways.
  • Knowledge of VMware products is advantageous.

Additional Information
Candidates should have:

  • Over 6 years of advanced experience with Microsoft Active Directory and systems.
  • Over 6 years of experience with VMware virtualization solutions.
  • More than 10 years of hands-on experience in WAN/LAN and wireless technologies.
  • Maintained multiple advanced manufacturer-specific certifications.
  • Experience with scripting and automation for deployments.
