Position Overview

The Network Infrastructure Specialist role is responsible for providing engineering support for IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, troubleshooting, relocations, and migrations.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to networking, security, and wireless systems.

  • Create detailed implementation plans.
  • Conduct architecture discussions and design presentations.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess a comprehensive understanding of high-performance data center solutions, LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, and collaboration systems.

  • Extensive knowledge of routers, switches, and security appliances.
  • Expertise in WAN circuits and routing protocols.
  • Experience in designing and troubleshooting VLANs using Cisco equipment.
  • Strong understanding of VPN solutions and deployment experience.
  • Familiarity with load balancing for web systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS and NXOS configurations.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with security deployments and assessments.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Cisco Certified Systems Engineer (CCNP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience in designing large-scale Unified Communications solutions.
  • Familiarity with voice gateways and QoS implementation.
  • Experience with PSTN communication and SIP trunks.
  • Knowledge of service desk and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with VMware products is advantageous.

Additional Information
Candidates should have:

  • 6+ years of advanced experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • 6+ years of advanced experience with VMware virtualization.
  • 6+ years of experience with Cisco Collaboration and SIP trunking.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in WAN/LAN and wireless technologies.
  • Multiple advanced manufacturer-specific certifications.
  • Experience with scripting for deployment automation.
