This position reports to the Senior Vice Provost for Curriculum Learning and Academic Affairs and collaborates closely with the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and dedicated to fostering teamwork across the university to ensure the effective coordination and execution of projects managed or influenced by the Curriculum, Learning, and Academic Affairs team.

The successful applicant will possess a distinctive blend of strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, project management expertise, and strong interpersonal abilities. They will lead and facilitate the execution of Curriculum, Learning, and Academic Affairs initiatives, demonstrating the capacity to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and vice versa.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee projects related to Academic Policy, Curricular Developments, and Partnership Initiatives;
  • Design and implement project management frameworks and systems to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Manage timelines for relevant work streams, maintaining regular communication with CLAA leadership regarding processes and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the CLAA team to assess, monitor, and relay progress and expectations to university units, ensuring the successful execution of policies and initiatives while aligning with the university's academic responsibilities.
  • Maintain clarity in organizational accountability, including policy review, risk assessment, and opportunities for enhanced transparency.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Vice Provost and Vice Provost, including scheduling, budget management, and coordination with other administrative staff.
  • Administer select special projects and initiatives concerning curricular affairs.
  • Participate in relevant committees as needed.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity of information.
  • Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in higher education.
  • A minimum of three years of project management experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with faculty and staff, both in-person and virtually.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage complex, long-term projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Active listening skills, valuing the contributions of others.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Experience or comfort with contract management throughout all phases of the lifecycle.

WORK MODE
  • Hybrid/Split - This position involves a consistent schedule of on-campus work (e.g., 1-4 times per week) along with remote work.
SALARY RANGE
  • $65,000 - $70,000 per annum.
