Curriculum Subject Matter Expert

We are seeking a passionate UI/UX Design Subject Matter Expert to collaborate with our internal curriculum developers and product team members to create our new UI/UX Design program.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult on proposed curriculum structure, including example student project portfolios, to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Draft educational materials, such as written text, runnable code examples, auto-graded coding tasks, assessment questions, and real-world projects.
- Write supporting materials, such as rubrics and project review guidelines for project reviewers and troubleshooting guides for support.
- Professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to work with components, libraries, and prototypes.
- Up-to-date industry knowledge.
- Experience in collaborating with development teams, including handoff design and design quality assurance.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, reviewers, and tutors.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or creating educational materials.
- Familiarity with online education platforms and instructional design principles.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies.
- Milestone-based payments based on statement of work.
- Fully remote work.
- Hands-on experience in an ed-tech environment, including learning tools and online education for adults.
- Digital office, using modern tools like Miro, Notion, Slack, etc.
- Freedom to work professionally, with trust in your experience and no micromanaging.
- See concrete results from your work, measuring the percentage of students who land jobs after completing our courses.
