Job Summary

We're looking for a seasoned curriculum writer with a strong foundation in web development, data science, and AI to join our team. As a Senior Curriculum Developer, you'll be responsible for architecting interactive coding exercises, reviewing project tutorials, and collaborating closely with our Engineering team to innovate and push the boundaries of learning to code online.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop byte-sized interactive coding exercises that engage and educate our users
  • Review and refine project tutorials written by our community to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Apply pedagogy best practices to break down complex technical concepts into fun, digestible components
  • Collaborate with our Engineering team to integrate new features and technologies into our platform
  • Co-lead our bi-weekly Curriculum meetings to drive innovation and progress
  • Address bug reports and curriculum feedback from our community to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Lead workshops and office hours to engage with our users and provide support
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in curriculum writing, technical writing, or a related field, preferably in EdTech
  • Strong foundation in web development, data science, and AI, with proficiency in HTML/CSS, JS, React, Command Line, Python, and other relevant technologies
  • Proficiency in Markdown and GitHub, with experience in version control and collaboration
  • Strong command of written and spoken English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience writing educational content that reaches a broad audience of different age groups
  • Experience in communicating with remote/hybrid teams, with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively
