Role Summary:

As an Issue Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Issue Management Program under the direction of the Cash Customer Operations (CCO) Operational Issue Management Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of issue management initiatives and support all stages of the current issue management lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain relationships with essential stakeholders to assess risks and control needs across various teams, including operations, legal, compliance, engineering, and product.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to educate and influence outcomes that align with the issue management program.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clarity and conciseness.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of systems and tools that facilitate Issue Management activities.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor timelines and milestones associated with documented action plans, escalating issues as necessary across different business lines.
  • Assess reported gaps or deficiencies to determine compliance with issue management criteria.
  • Oversee and drive emergency situations, coordinating immediate response teams as required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Issue, Risk, or Control Management.
  • Solid understanding of relevant financial services regulations and supervisory expectations for large, complex financial institutions.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and analytically, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in identifying and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of providing recommendations based on business, risk, and control objectives.
  • Excellent planning capabilities, with a tactical and strategic approach to projects and tasks, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with G-Suite and communication platforms like Slack.
