POSITION SUMMARY


The Senior Risk Management Specialist is tasked with supporting the Application Development Team and Executive Leadership by identifying and reporting on Risks and Vulnerabilities.

This role involves collaborating with Application Owners to address issues and eliminate any obstacles, with assistance from Risk Officers, the Global Tech Risk team, and various other Risk Leads.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsible for providing risk oversight, acting as a subject matter expert and the second line of defense in application governance.

You will serve as the primary contact for senior-level committees, regulatory examinations, and audit assessments, ensuring effective communication with governance, senior stakeholders, and control partners.



ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Develop and implement Risk and audit strategies to ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Ensure timely completion of audits and achievement of risk objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential risks and control deficiencies, and formulate recommendations for enhancement.
Review and analyze risk/audit findings, preparing detailed reports for management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and resolution of all risk-related issues.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, integrating them into Risk processes and procedures.
Provide guidance and training to audit personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and professional guidelines, maintaining confidentiality of audit information.
