We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underground Construction Manager to join our team at Race Telecommunications LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of underground construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of underground construction workers, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Assign work tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Manage the construction and installation of underground telecommunications infrastructure, including conduits, cables, and other related equipment.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders, such as engineering, design, and project management teams.
- Promote a culture of safety and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
- Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as AutoCAD, GIS, or project management software, may be required.
- Experience in underground construction or telecommunications infrastructure preferred.
- Experience in managing and supervising construction teams, developing and implementing construction plans and schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to underground construction.
- Strong commitment to safety, including knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to underground construction.
- Certifications such as OSHA certification or certification in underground construction techniques preferred/required.
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites, work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off hours as needed.
- The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication.
- Proficiency in Spanish Language desirable.
