Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership and Management:
  • Guide a team of construction personnel, offering clear directives, support, and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with the crew, assigning tasks and monitoring their progress.
  • Develop daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and consistently oversee job site safety hazards and conditions.
  • Encourage a collaborative work atmosphere, enhancing teamwork and motivating the crew to meet project objectives.

Construction Oversight and Quality Assurance:
  • Supervise the construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications.
  • Perform regular inspections to confirm the quality of workmanship, materials, and compliance with project plans.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies promptly, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of construction activities, including progress reports, labor hours, and material consumption.

Communication and Coordination:
  • Act as the primary liaison for project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and inspectors.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and other professionals to resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Provide updates on project status, progress, and potential delays to the project manager and other relevant parties.
  • Encourage effective communication within the construction team, fostering clear and efficient information exchange.

Equipment Management and Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure that all construction tools and equipment are properly maintained and operational.
  • Conduct regular safety evaluations to identify potential hazards and implement necessary preventive actions.
  • Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and encourage crew members to report any safety concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in bolted tank/silo construction or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in utilizing construction tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Physical fitness and capability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
