As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the major divisions of CRH Americas Materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in field operations for heavy construction and paving projects, ensuring efficient crew and scheduling practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of construction technology to enhance performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with aggregates and asphalt plant teams to learn production fundamentals and optimize plant operations.
  • Contribute to the estimation and planning of plant production requirements, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Participate in the asphalt plant scheduling process to meet customer and internal demands, maximizing capacity utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including MSHA and OSHA standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the bidding and execution of construction projects.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a college degree program with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or better.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as required.
  • Current driver's license that meets state requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends when necessary.
