Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Professional Practice Leader to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, this individual will play a critical role in advancing clinical practice, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert consultation and guidance to clinical staff on best practices and evidence-based care.
- Develop and implement education programs to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to improve patient outcomes and safety.
- Conduct quality improvement initiatives to identify and address gaps in care.
- Participate in research and quality improvement projects to advance clinical practice.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with 3 years in a clinical specialty.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ANCC Recognized Certification in applicable specialty area.
