Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bank Secrecy Compliance Specialist to join our team at PeoplesBank. As a key member of our Compliance Program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior management and business line leaders to develop and implement effective BSA compliance strategies.
  • Oversee the administration of the BSA compliance program, including monitoring and reporting requirements.
  • Utilize advanced software and databases to perform comprehensive BSA monitoring and analysis.
  • Mentor and train junior team members on BSA compliance procedures and best practices.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity to senior management and regulatory authorities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on BSA regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with BSA regulations and related laws.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure BSA compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to employees on BSA compliance procedures and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BSA compliance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, business line leaders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BSA regulations and related laws.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
