We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Westfields Hospital & Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient care duties, including documentation of medical information, administration of medications and treatments, and obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
- Support the timely delivery of services, adhering to physician and RN direction, as well as Clinic policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect and compassion for patients and colleagues alike.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin preferred.
- Current CPR certification and BLS required; experience with EPIC computer system a plus.
- One year of ambulatory care and/or specialty care experience preferred.
