We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Ageatia Global Solutions. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical team with administrative and clinical tasks.
ResponsibilitiesMedical Clinic Responsibilities- Perform surveillance exams, including hearing conservation, respirator, ERT, thermal stress, and other tests as required.
- Track and close surveillance exams to maintain compliance.
- Assist with case management by scheduling employees, tracking cases, documenting employee interactions, and communicating with outside providers.
- Room and prepare patients for medical appointments, including vital signs, immunizations, phlebotomy, drug/alcohol testing, COVID testing, ear irrigation, glucose testing, and administering EKGs/PFT/Titmus/Audiometer as directed by onsite providers.
- Document all medically related interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Schedule medical appointments, answer/respond to telephone calls and medical requests.
- Track and understand the components of surveillance/employment exams within the scope of their training.
- Arrange meetings as directed by the medical team.
- Scan, fax, copy, ship, email, and prepare documentation as needed.
- Facilitate receiving documentation from outside providers/employees/other parties and upload it into the EMR as directed.
- Prepare records for storage and retrieval in Iron Mountain.
- Maintain access to vendor accounts, including local required reporting facilities.
- Order, check expiration dates, and maintain clinic supplies, equipment, and licensing.
- Complete iLearn trainings with deadlines as assigned.
- Support Corporate Programs/Projects, including data collection and management, setting up accounts, and arranging meetings.
- Work may be leveraged to support remote sites for administrative clinic support.
- Assist with acquiring content for meetings or to support a program/business need.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Global Medical Leader.
